Round Bottle Labeling
Full or partial wrap-around pressure-sensitive label application to approved cylindrical containers.
View DetailsCompare automatic labeling machines for round, square and oval bottles, pharmaceutical vials and fragile ampoules, including high-output rotary platforms.
Machine selection
A labeling machine must control the container while dispensing and pressing the approved label in the correct position. Round containers typically rotate during wrap-around application, while square, rectangular and oval containers require orientation and stabilization so one or two flat faces remain controlled.
Vials and ampoules need size-appropriate accumulation, spacing and gentle handling. Higher-output projects may use positive infeed-worm, starwheel and rotary-turret control.
Final selection depends on container dimensions, label material and winding direction, label size, application faces, output, coding, clear-label sensing, camera inspection, rejection and upstream or downstream line interfaces.

View DetailsApplication comparison
| Container | Handling approach | Typical application | Recommended page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Round bottle or jar | Spacing plus controlled bottle rotation | Full or partial wrap-around label | Round bottle labeler |
| High-output round formats | Worm, starwheel and rotary turret | Synchronized rotary label application | Rotary labeler |
| Square or rectangular | Face orientation and top stabilization | Single side or two opposite faces | Bottle labelers |
| Oval bottle | Dedicated orientation and stabilization | Front and back labels | Oval bottle labeler |
| Vial | Small-format accumulation and rolling | Full or partial wrap label | Vial labeler |
| Ampoule / ampule | Gentle worm, roller or starwheel handling | Full or partial self-adhesive label | Ampoule labeler |
Selection checklist
Share every container shape, material, dimensions, stability details and physical sample.
Provide label size, material, transparency, roll diameter, core, gap and winding direction.
Confirm wrap, single-side, double-side or front-back position and required containers per minute.
Specify batch coding, vision inspection, missing-label detection, rejection and line interface.
Frequently asked questions
Selection depends on container shape and stability, label size and material, application faces, required output, coding, inspection and line integration.
This range uses self-adhesive or pressure-sensitive sticker labels. Labeling and labelling are spelling variants used for the same application.
Clear-label sensing can be reviewed after testing the actual transparent label and backing material.
Yes. Dedicated vial and ampoule labeling pages cover gentle handling for approved small glass containers. Ampule is an alternate spelling of ampoule.
Applicable coding, camera inspection, missing-label detection and reject handling can be included in the approved project scope.
Send container and label samples, output, coding and inspection requirements for review.
